Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park
Today, we will embark on an adventure to the Nyerere National Park, starting from your hotel in Dar es Salaam. From there, we will journey along dusty roads, passing through Kibiti, where we will take a break for lunch. After recharging, we will continue our trip to Nyerere National Park, one of Tanzania’s classic destinations. This vast wildlife reserve is home to an array of exotic species, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and many others. As you explore the park, you will be immersed in the stunning natural beauty of Tanzania, and get an up-close view of some of the world’s most incredible wildlife. So sit back, relax, and get ready for an exciting journey to one of Tanzania’s top safari destinations!
On arrival to Nyerere, you will start your adventure by taking a boat safari on the Rufiji river.
After your adventure, you will drive back to overnight at your luxurious lodge accommodation.
Day 2:Full day game drive in Nyerere National Park
Nyerere National Park in Tanzania offers visitors the opportunity to experience a full day game drive where they can witness the incredible wildlife that this park is home to. Visitors can expect to experience a range of ecosystems, including miombo woodlands, riverine forests, and open plains, which provide habitats for a diverse range of wildlife.
During the game drive, visitors can expect to see a range of animals, including elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles and a variety of bird species. The park is also home to rare species such as African wild dogs and the Tanzanian cheetah.

Day 3: Nyerere National Park to Dar es Salaam
Today’s activity offers an exciting option for those who enjoy wildlife exploration. The morning begins early with a two to three-hour walking safari. An experienced guide and armed ranger will lead you through the Nyerere National Park. Together, you will venture to areas of the park that are inaccessible by car. Along the way, the ranger will explain the diverse flora and fauna of the area. Later, when you return to the lodge, you can enjoy a late breakfast before setting out on the road to Dar es Salaam. Along the way, you will have a chance to stop and enjoy a picnic lunch. This activity will enhance your knowledge of the animals living in the Nyerere National Park and allow you to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the park.
