Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

  • Departure from Arusha: Your safari adventure begins with an early departure from Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Arusha is a bustling city located at the foot of Mount Meru and serves as a popular starting point for safaris.
  • Tarangire National Park: After a few hours’ drive, you’ll arrive at Tarangire National Park, known for its massive baobab trees and large herds of elephants. The park is particularly stunning during the dry season when animals gather around the Tarangire River.
  • Game Drive: You’ll embark on a full-day game drive, exploring the diverse landscapes of Tarangire and searching for its abundant wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and various antelope species.
  • Camping Experience: Your accommodation for the night will be a camping site near lake Manyara national park. Camping in the heart of the wilderness allows you to immerse yourself in nature and experience the sounds of the African bush under the starlit sky.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

  • Lake Manyara National Park: After breakfast at the campsite, you’ll depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet diverse park nestled between the Great Rift Valley’s cliffs and the alkaline waters of Lake Manyara.
  • Wildlife and Scenery: Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, unique birdlife, and breathtaking scenery. The park encompasses a variety of habitats, including forests, grasslands, and swamps, supporting a wide range of wildlife.
  • Picnic Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the wilderness of Lake Manyara, providing an opportunity to rest and soak in the natural surroundings.
  • Camping Near Lake Manyara: As the day comes to a close, you’ll head to a designated camping area near Ngorongoro. Camping in the vicinity of the park allows you to continue your wildlife encounters even after the sun sets.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater

  • Ngorongoro Crater: Today, you’ll journey to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as Africa’s “Eden.” This natural wonder is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and boasts one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa.
  • Game Drive in the Crater: Descend into the crater floor for a full-day game drive, where you’ll have the chance to encounter a plethora of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros).
  • Picnic Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and wildlife roaming freely in their natural habitat.
  • Camping on the Crater Rim: As the day draws to a close, ascend to the rim of the crater, where your campsite awaits. Camping on the crater rim offers stunning views of the crater below and the surrounding landscapes.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

  • Serengeti Bound: After breakfast, you’ll depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park, renowned for its vast savannahs, diverse wildlife, and the spectacular Great Migration.
  • En Route Game Drive: As you journey towards the Serengeti, you’ll enjoy a game drive, providing opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. Keep your eyes peeled for lions lounging on kopjes or herds of wildebeests grazing in the plains.
  • Camp Setup: Upon reaching the Serengeti, you’ll set up camp in a designated area within the park. Camping in the Serengeti allows you to truly connect with nature and experience the rhythms of the wilderness.
  • Afternoon Game Drive: In the afternoon, embark on a game drive to explore the Serengeti’s expansive plains and search for its resident wildlife, including cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and more.

Day 5: Serengeti to Zanzibar

  • Morning Game Drive: Start the day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, when wildlife is most active. Witness the sunrise over the savannah as predators begin their hunt and herbivores roam the plains.
  • Breakfast and Transfer: Return to the campsite for breakfast before transferring to the nearest airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar.
  • Flight to Zanzibar: Board your flight to Zanzibar, an idyllic island paradise known for its pristine beaches, turquoise waters, and rich cultural heritage.
  • Arrival in Zanzibar: Upon arrival in Zanzibar airport make the end of our tour.
