As you arrive at the airport today, one of our friendly and knowledgeable driver guides will be ready and waiting to escort you to your hotel in Arusha. Along the way, they will share insights about Tanzania’s culture, history, and traditions. Our drivers are not just drivers, but also knowledgeable locals who are passionate about sharing their heritage with visitors.

Upon your arrival at your hotel, you will be greeted by one of our travel consultants who will brief you on the exciting safari that lies ahead. They will provide you with all the necessary information you need to make the most out of your trip, including valuable tips on what to pack, what to expect on safari, and more. Our team is committed to making your experience seamless and unforgettable.

Meet with your climbing team at the hotel and drive to Lemosho Gate. The Lemosho gate is located at the western base of the mountain. On arrival at the park gate, your guide will help with all necessary registration formalities while the porters sort out the luggage. We will get our lunch at the gate before starting our Kilimanjaro expedition. We hike through the lush rainforest, where we can see exotic moss, different flowers, and black and white colobus monkeys. When we arrive at the camp, we will provide you with hot water for washing. Today enjoy your first dinner on the mountain.
