5 Days Zanzibar Excursions

Welcome to Zanzibar with Golden Trips! Upon your arrival at Zanzibar Airport, one of our experienced drivers will be there to greet you and take you to your hotel in Stone Town. We will then arrange for one of our team members to visit you at your hotel for a briefing. Your accommodation will be at the Shaba Boutique Hotel, but we are happy to make changes based on your preferences and budget. Just let us know your requirements and we will take care of the rest.

In the morning after breakfast, you will meet your driver and head out for the Safari Blue tour. This is a full-day experience where you will sail through mangroves and go snorkelling in Menai Bay, which boasts one of the best coral reefs in Zanzibar. You can enjoy swimming, relaxing on a sandbank, and indulging in a fresh seafood barbecue that includes octopus, lobsters, squids, calamari, fish, and exotic fresh fruits.

Our driver will pick you up from your accommodation after breakfast to take you on a full-day tour of Zanzibar. One of the main attractions at Jozani Forest is the Red Colobus Monkeys, where you can discover the flora and fauna of this beautiful protected forest. You will also have the opportunity to test and smell various spices used in Zanzibar cuisine, such as cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, cloves, etc., as you continue your day-long exploration of the spice fields. At the farm, you will be served a delicious locally cooked lunch of spiced rice with fresh fish and fruits like mangos, bananas, and pineapple. You’ll visit the most famous locations, including the Sultan’s Palace, the House of Wonders, the Freddie Mercury House, the Old Fort/Arab Fort, and the Former Slave Market. After a busy day of sightseeing, your driver will return you to your hotel for leisure and dinner.

Located on the northernmost point of Zanzibar, you will find a fishing village called Nungwi that is famous for producing traditional Dhow boats. You can swim with around 35 sea turtles in the lagoon and also visit the vibrant reefs of Mnemba Island, where you can experience swimming with dolphins. During the excursion, you will have the opportunity to observe a wide variety of colorful fish and marine life at Zanzibar’s best snorkeling spot. Experienced snorkel guides will be available to provide instruction and guidance. Fresh fruit will be provided on the boat throughout the trip. During low tide, you can also take some amazing photos of the beautiful sandbank next to Mnemba Island. After the excursion, you will enjoy a delicious seafood lunch at Muyuni Beach, which is one of Zanzibar’s finest beaches. Finally, you will return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Depending on your flight time, we will arrange your transfer to the airport for your journey back home as today marks your last day in Zanzibar.
