Golden Trips is delighted to welcome you to Zanzibar. Upon your arrival at Zanzibar Airport, one of our experienced drivers will be there to welcome you and drive you to your hotel in Stone Town. Our team will then visit you at the hotel to brief you on your itinerary. You will be staying at the Shaba Boutique Hotel, but if you have any specific requirements, preferences, or budget constraints, we can always change your lodging accordingly.

After breakfast the next morning, you will meet your driver and set off on a safari blue adventure. You will spend the entire day sailing through mangroves and snorkeling in Menai Bay, one of the most spectacular coral reefs in Zanzibar. You can indulge in swimming, relaxing on the sandbank, and enjoying a delicious seafood barbeque that includes fresh octopus, lobster, squid, calamari, fish, and exotic fruits.

Our driver will pick you up from your accommodation after breakfast to take you on a full-day tour of Zanzibar. One of the main attractions you’ll encounter at Jozani Forest is the Red Colobus Monkeys. You’ll have the opportunity to discover the flora and fauna present in this lovely natural protected forest. As you continue your day-long exploration of the spice fields, test and smell the various spices grown and utilized in Zanzibar cuisine, such as cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, cloves, etc. On the farm, you’ll have a delicious locally cooked lunch of spiced rice with fresh fish and fruits like mangos, bananas, and pineapple. You’ll also have the chance to visit the most famous locations, including the Sultan’s Palace, the House of Wonders, the Freddie Mercury House, the Old Fort/Arab Fort, and the Former Slave Market. After a busy day of sightseeing, your driver will return you to your hotel for leisure and dinner.

Located at the northernmost point of Zanzibar is Nungwi, a fishing village renowned for crafting traditional Dhow boats. Here, you can swim with around 35 sea turtles in the lagoon. Additionally, you can explore the vibrant reefs of Mnemba Island and experience dolphin swimming. You’ll have the opportunity to appreciate the diverse range of colorful fish and marine life at Zanzibar’s premier snorkeling location while on the excursion, with experienced snorkel guides who will provide instruction and guidance. Fresh fruit will be available on the boat throughout the trip. During low tide, you can also take stunning photos of the magnificent sandbank adjacent to Mnemba Island. After the excursion, enjoy a delicious seafood lunch at Muyuni Beach, one of Zanzibar’s top beaches. Return to your hotel for the night and have dinner.

Your driver will pick you up in the morning and take you to Prison Island. There, you will spend the entire day on a boat excursion and explore the Nakupenda sandbank located near the coast of Stone Town. During your visit to Prison Island, you can take some great pictures and learn intriguing facts from your advisors about the Aldabra giant tortoises that can be found there. After that, you can relax, swim, and snorkel at the naturally formed Nakupenda sandbank. Before heading back to your hotel for supper and the night, you will be treated to the best fresh seafood barbecue, which includes Octopus, Lobsters, Squid, Calamari, and fresh fruits at Nakupenda Sandbank.
