Welcome to Zanzibar with Golden Trips Tanzania. Upon your arrival at Zanzibar Airport, one of our experienced drivers will greet you and take you to your hotel located in Stone Town. One of our team members will visit you at the hotel to brief you on the itinerary. Your accommodation for the stay will be at Shaba boutique hotel, but we can always make changes based on your preferences and budget.

After breakfast the next morning, you will meet your driver and head out for a full-day adventure on the Safari Blue. During your trip, you will be sailing around mangroves and snorkeling along Menai Bay, which is considered to be one of the best coral reefs in Zanzibar. You will have plenty of opportunities to swim, relax on the Sandbank, and enjoy a delicious seafood barbecue featuring fresh octopus, lobster, squid, calamari, fish, and exotic fruits.

Our driver will pick you up from your accommodation after breakfast to take you on a full-day tour of Zanzibar. One of the main attractions at Jozani Forest is the Red Colobus Monkeys. You can also discover the flora and fauna present in this lovely natural protected forest. During your day-long exploration of the spice fields, you will have the opportunity to test and smell various spices used in Zanzibar cuisine, such as cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, cloves, and more. You’ll have a delicious locally cooked lunch of spiced rice with fresh fish and fruits like mangoes, bananas, and pineapple on the farm. You’ll also visit the most famous locations, including the Sultan’s Palace, the House of Wonders, the Freddie Mercury House, the Old Fort/Arab Fort, and the Former Slave Market. After a busy day of sightseeing, your driver will return you to your hotel for leisure and dinner.

Located on the northernmost point of Zanzibar, you’ll find a fishing village called Nungwi. This village is renowned for its traditional Dhow boats. You can go swimming with about 35 sea turtles in the lagoon. Additionally, you can explore the vibrant reefs of Mnemba Island and experience swimming with dolphins. While on the excursion, you can witness a wide range of colorful fish and marine life at Zanzibar’s top snorkeling location. Experienced snorkel guides will be available to instruct and guide you. You’ll have access to fruits on the boat throughout the entire trip. During low tide, you can also take stunning photos of the magnificent sandbank next to Mnemba Island. After the excursion, you’ll enjoy a fantastic seafood lunch at Muyuni Beach, one of Zanzibar’s top beaches. Then, you’ll return to your hotel for dinner and spend the night.

Your driver will pick you up in the morning and take you on a day-long boat excursion to Prison Island, where you’ll also explore the Nakupenda sandbank near the coast of Stone Town. During your visit to Prison Island, you’ll have the chance to take some great pictures and learn fascinating facts from your guides about the island and the Aldabra giant tortoises that live there. Afterward, you can relax, swim, and snorkel at the naturally formed Nakupenda sandbank. Before heading back to your hotel for supper and the night, you’ll enjoy a fantastic fresh seafood barbecue, including octopus, lobsters, squid, calamari, and fresh fruits at Nakupenda Sandbank.

After having breakfast, you should get ready to spend the day exploring the lush beauty of Zanzibar Islands. Snorkeling at Michamvi Blue Lagoon is an excellent way to witness a school of vibrant tropical fish and starfish. Once you’ve finished snorkeling, your seat at the Rock Restaurant will be ready for you. While having your lunch, don’t forget to take a picture of this unique restaurant. After indulging in a delectable meal at the Rock Restaurant, you can head back to your hotel to relax and unwind.
